Patients with neuroendocrine tumours may be treated in a variety of manners, depending on the disease type, severity and extension. Treatment options include surgery, systemic chemotherapy, transarterial chemoembolisation, radionuclide treatment as well as symptomatic/palliative treatment.

The liver is a usual site of neuroendocrine tumour metastases; in such cases  there is medical indication for transarterial chemoembolisation or – if there are few metastatic lesions of relatively small size – radiofrequency ablation.

Ioannis Dedes has been successfully performing transarterial chemoembolisations and ablations of liver metastases originating from neuroendocrine tumours at the Interbalkan Medical Centre for more than 10 years.

Ask I. Dede, what can you expect from a treatment. Examines your personal file and discusses it with you
